Dating back to 1867, the Bracebridge Fall Fair & Horse Show is a beloved tradition hosted by the Bracebridge Agricultural Society. This early autumn event has something for everyone, from midway rides and delicious food vendors to live music and impressive light and heavy draft horse shows. Kids will love the animal exhibits and entertainment, making it a perfect family outing. Held at J.D. Lang Park in Bracebridge, this culturally rich event is a must-visit each fall.




Bracebridge’s Downtown Autumn Art Market is the perfect open-air street event for art lovers. A collaboration between the Bracebridge BIA and Muskoka Arts & Crafts, this vibrant market showcases local artisans, live art demonstrations, tasty food vendors, and lively music and entertainment.

The 2025 Muskoka Marathon at Santa’s Village features several different race options, ranging from a full marathon to a kids fun run. Participants will get to enjoy Muskoka’s stunning fall colours while running through Bracebridge, alongside the Muskoka River and scenic forests. Click here to register.

Experience Muskoka’s vibrant fall colours from the comfort of a quaint wagon ride with Back of Beyond. This one-hour experience also includes a guided barn tour, where you’ll meet the horses and other animals on the property while learning about the rich history of the farm.

On weekends from October 4-26, Santa’s Village transforms into a Halloween wonderland! Dress up in your best costume, explore the festive decorations, and enjoy trick-or-treating throughout the park. Saturdays from 11AM – 7PM and Sundays from 11AM – 5PM.

The Bracebridge Library offers impressive fall-themed programming for children every Thursday in September and October. Take your tot to Autumn’s Curiouse Senses or Falling for Preschoolers for some seriously fun autumnal crafts, stories, STEM and sensory activities. Participation is free with a library card!
